Scary times here in Michigan

The business next door to where we work has been closed for about six months. A few weeks ago I heard a rumor that the business on our other side is shutting down. And this morning I heard (from our boss, who heard it from one of the principals involved) that the business across the street from us is considering closing. They're a computer reseller that focuses on equipping school systems and so far this year they've signed one contract. All of their employees have already taken pay cuts. If sales haven't picked up come July, they too will go out of business.

Yup. I keep saying the MI economy is in a free fall. People who don't live in MI don't believe me.

Last night's AA news said AA just ranked as the 5th worst midsize city in the country for finding a job.
