For me, this was another quiet week. For jebra, not so much. We're both fighting off side-effects of the shingles vaccines we had last week (not feeling great and feeling as run down as if we'd had the flu), and he felt poorly enough he didn't want to travel north to see his folks and brother. If he'd gone he'd have missed the Dorsai meeting on Zoom. I thought that would take a couple of hours. It took six. I guess they got a lot done but I'm not a Dorsai and don't know what all they were taking about. I was allowed to join the meeting about an hour from the end to hear a presentation about COVID-19.

I spent nearly all of Saturday on my corner of the couch, working on crochet. Sunday was a combination of crochet and laundry.

Monday was work followed by crochet, and Tuesday was a trip to the dentist for a cleaning followed by work, then home for the first official guild meeting of the year. We were given a virtual tour of a lovely yarn shop (Wool & Honey) in the tiny community of Cedar, Michigan. They have some stunningly beautiful yarn and I now want to visit the shop the next time we venture that far north.

Oooh! I love Wool & Honey! I order from them a couple of times a year. They do have some gorgeous yarn, and some really neat collaborations with other tiny shops in Cedar and surrounding communities. I joined their Sleeping Bear Yarn club a few months ago just to get a monthly fix of lovely yarn in exclusive colors.

I was going to stop by this summer when I went to Interlochen, but.....

(Fannish business meetings can take forever. Especially something like Dorsai that's predicated on convention activities that are no longer happening.)

You must show me your yarn from Wool & Honey. They have some of the best colors and their (or their dyers) inspiration for them makes me want the yarn even more.

I think we're on the road to better although sleeping is currently my favorite thing. More so than watching a new-to-me true crime thing.
