Drinking from a firehose

I had to shovel again this morning, but that was mostly because the snow plow had come through last night and refilled the base of our driveway. Happily the temperature was warmer than it was yesterday and the wind was barely blowing, which made shoveling much less unpleasant. And I was happy to hear a woodpecker drumming for a mate.

After my weekly allergy shot, as I walked to the car, I noticed I was walking parallel to a set of bird tracks. They were so perfect I couldn't resist getting my camera out and taking a photo. It's in the scrapbook page below.
