We lost power here at the house for about four and a half hours today.

The house sure gets quiet when there's no power.

The cats were useless at keeping me warm (they didn't even try).

I spent the first half of the day alternating between knitting, crochet, and reading Blood and Destiny.

I spent the second half doing laundry. I did everything except the sheets. Those can wait until tomorrow.

Power outages suck. And cats are supposed to keep you warm, so tell them they weren't living up to theor resonsibilities. ;-)

My cats don't keep me warm either. Except in the summer. They think I'm supposed to keep them warm, and get annoyed with me when it gets cold.
