No change on the garage tear-down and rebuild, other than we heard from the concrete guy and Miss Dig has been called. With a lot of luck the old foundation will be removed this week and the new one poured. I am not holding my breath though as if there is anything this experience has taught me it is that this progress on the garage is neither speedy nor predictable.
In other news, we're having car trouble -- with both cars. The car I drive (on the once or twice a week I drive) seems to be running hot. This may mean the coolant is leaking or is otherwise low but I have no idea how to check and as far as I know the spouse hasn't opened the hood. The other car is having some sort of an issue with (we think) the transmission. The spouse is supposed to call our regular repairs guys and ask if it should pay them a visit or go directly to the guy that fixed the transmission on the other car. Right now it's parked at work and I have the bad feeling it may say there for a while.
