Do the baby hats go home with the newborns, or are they used in the neonatal ward? It's lovely that the babies have something individual (besides being soft and warm), not just the institutional textiles.

I believe they go home with the baby. Many of the hats are adorable. I saw one cupcake hat that looked good enough to eat. I thought my two were pretty good but that one was so much better.
