Grumpy with multiple things

I had my allergy test this morning. And wouldn't you know, after four miserable days without anti-histamines, I barely reacted to *any* of the allergens they tried. I'm baffled, as I didn't take anything other than what the doc said was okay and I'm pretty sure that the last time I had one of these done, I reacted to more substances than I did today.
Happily, I'm not allergic to cats. Heartbreakingly, I *am* allergic to dogs. I wailed when I got that bit of news. I've been asking for a dog for years and now that we work up near the humane society, we were seriously giving consideration to either adopting or fostering.
Just for the record, today's results also show allergies to weeds, mold, and dust mites. We're still going to try allergy shots -- my first treatment should be this Saturday, but![[insanejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/ij-userinfo.gif)
jebra's going off to some drum thing at Oakland University so I guess I won't be able to get that initial shot until next week.
Over the weekend, when I was feeling crappy and couldn't enjoy the wonderful weather, I finished knitting my first Jayne hat. I took photos of it this morning and planned to make a little page to put it on, but now I can't get GIMP to work. I have no idea why; it worked fine the last time brought it up.
