The spouse and I spent the weekend at my mother's new house. As I told jebra, I'm glad we don't live there, because if we did, I would never leave. It's that comfortable.

Speaking of... Do you want to see Happy Feet? I saw the trailer at WorldCon, and while it seemed quite silly, it seemed silly in a way that I just might enjoy. (Unless the trailer got all the good parts.)

I just read a review for it that made me think I'll wait for the DVD. Since it's penguins, I'm almost certain to want to own a copy. (The reviewers complaint was that the movie lacks continuity and a core theme.) I've seen commercials for the movie though and think the lead penguin is *very* cute. This bodes well for the DVD, but not enough to get me to spend money on it as well as movie tickets.

When can I move in? I don't know which I like more, the livingroom or the kitchen. I love that island, but I love the livingroom window.

Now, now, don't you have a fairly new home of your own? And do you really want to live out in Farm Country in Southwest Michigan?

Personally, I love the whole house. And I didn't even show you my room (i.e., the guest bedroom) or mom's master suite. Or her shower, lovingly nicknamed the "car wash" due to its seven shower heads. I think mom and the spouse are going to find it a lot easier to talk me into overnight visits now that she's in the house.

I'll pass along your compliments. And I agree with you about the view. I'm particularly partial to the pine trees behind her property line and can hardly wait to see them after a snowstorm.
