Date: 2008-12-09 02:25 am (UTC)I was so in love with Illya when I was a teenager, as was about 5 million other young girls. So when I explain my 'hobby' to other women, who are middle age or older, that there are those of us who are still writing MfU, almost always I hear how they also were so in love with Illya. And then I go on to explain that in OUR writing, Illya and Napolean are lovers. And it is amazing how often that makes sense to these ladies.

Date: 2008-12-09 03:42 am (UTC)I always thought my peers would want Solo, but like you, I was all about Illya. Then I transfered my allegiance to Alex Krycek (of the X Files, who I believe was a triple agent and not a traitor), but if there was a story with Alex and Illya, well, I'm sure Illya would give Alex a run for my money.
Anyway, Happy Birthday and I hope your entire year will be filled with happiness.
