We spent two nights at an Austrian hotel on Lake Superior this summer as part of our 35th celebration. We went out to the local chocolaterie for lunch today and ordered in tonight, since all of the really nice restaurants in our area seem to be closed on Mondays.

We had a very nice bottle of Henkel Trokken tonight. It's the champagne-like German wine we had at our wedding. Tasty.

That sounds absolutely lovely, your stay at the hotel on Lake Superior. As for the Henkel Trokken, that sounds *really* good. I like champagne-like substances, particularly when they aren't too dry.

Congratulations again, and thanks for being an inspiration to those of us who haven't been married as long as you two.

Pretty soon I'll get around to posting my photos of our little trip to Lake Superior.

Henkel Trokken is delicious and not expensive compared to champagne.

Then again, I suppose that passing through those moments and coming out the other side intact IS inspiring. =>}
