The mall was interesting although we didn't walk past the food court. I wonder just how rich the kids' parents are as the food prices were, of course, elevated, and the attractions were not inexpensive either. LegoLand was $22 and I have no idea how much admittance to the aquarium was. Maybe someday I'll manage to visit the aquarium as that sounded pretty interesting. This trip it was pretty much all I could do to walk from the car to the food court.

The tea party was more my speed and I very much enjoy ed seeing everyone. I was glad three of the guests were strong men as I couldn't lift my foot over the top step and fell onto the porch. Didn't hurt myself at all, but was not happy that I couldn't get up on my own.

I missed Guild last night due to the church's elevator being under repair. Happily the night's speaker's talk was recorded for me. Not that I've had time to hear it yet. This morning I've been fighting with the medicare website. I need to make a payment and so far it won't let me login. Grrrr.

I'm still searching for my missing tax documents. Grrrr to that too.

I'm so sorry your weekend and the first part of the week have been plagued by distance, lost forms, and recalcitrant websites.

I hope things get better.

I had to sign into the IRS to pay my taxes, and it was one of the most frustrating things I've ever been through. I had to do a video of myself and then submit to a biometric reading of my face that took 4 tries - so the site could match it to my video.

You know, I can't imagine why anyone would want to get on the site and pay my taxes for me, so I'm not sure why it was so damn difficult to let me do it.

Oh, have you gotten set up on IDme? It's an online program that gets you into the Social Security site much more easily.

I set up on it and have been very grateful ever since.

That is what is giving me fits. As far as I can tell, I've successfully gone through the steps, can login (it knows it is me) and then... nothing. Can't leave that screen.

Also, Pat and I both meant to get a message out to you for your birthday, and we failed miserably. We both send you love and hope that it was NOT a frustrating day.

It was yesterday and I already can't remember. I spent most of the day here at my desk as it was a class day for our students. It wasn't bad though, except for the time I spent fighting with Medicare. I did all the silly prove-you-are-you stuff yesterday. Not that any of it helped today. Will try again tomorrow.
