Let's see, what can I add about what's on today's page? I told y'all my ObGyn is retiring. I'm going to miss her as she's a really good doctor and I've been seeing her since 2011. I can't remember who I saw before her, although I know there were at least four others. One was when I was in college and I know I disappointed him as he was visibly disappointed when my cysts kept shrinking and he couldn't operate. I was warned off of him after that (the man was sued multiple times) and switched to the guy with zero bedside manner but was married to his head nurse and she had all the warm and fuzzies. I remember something about the doctor in Troy but I didn't stay with him long, and then I think there was someone else after him but I can't remember who.

Which reminds me, my memory is concerning me more than ever. I am now finding it difficult to come up with words when I'm talking with Jebra. "Thingamajigger" is becoming a frequent utterance, and Google is becoming an even better friend when I'm writing and can't figure out how to spell a word. Today's first word was Ulysses as that is the first name of one of the cold-callers and I needed to record it.

Anyway, while I was at the ObGyn I was told my insurance card has the wrong information at the top and isn't medicare. I needed my Red, White, and Blue card which I did not have with me. I know it is somewhere in the house, not that I could lay my hands on it once I got home. Fortunately the receptionist at the office let me send it to her in email along with my prescription list. This was not a crisis as I knew I'd scanned the darn thing and there was a photo of it on my home computer and should have been one on my phone as well. Which I couldn't produce at the office because I brought the wrong phone with me! I will need to research the insurance card issue later today. Oh, and while I was updating my medicine list I discovered that one of the medicines listed has disappeared from my recollection (and my shelf of prescription medicines). I can't think of what it is this morning, just that when I googled it it said something about lowering the risk of heart problems. Jardiance, maybe? I'm going to have to remember to ask my doctor about that when I next see him. *stops and refers to old email* Yep, it was jardiance. And I put a note about it into Keep. Let's see if that works when the appointment rolls around.

There might be more to natter about, but it's taken nearly 3 hours to get this post made and I have other things I need to do today. And I haven't even talked about 40 Watts from Nowhere, which was surprisingly suspenseful as the entire book I kept waiting for the FCC to catch up with her. She is, I think, the only person more into music than Jebra and I believe she has wider tastes. I would have tuned into her radio station if I lived within range but I would not have enjoyed the music some of her DJs played. It was interesting and if you are at all interested in pirate or underground radio, I'd recommend the books.

And with that, I'm out of here. I hope y'all's lives are running more smoothly than mine!
