Saturday was fun right up until a buck ran in front of us and we hit it. The collision took place 28 miles from home but fortunately the car wasn't so damaged we couldn't drive home. The damage is significant and now we're waiting for the claims adjuster to call and, apparently, come to the house to examine the car. We got the preliminary repair estimate and it came to nearly half of what we paid for the car. I am not a happy camper.

I finished another cat bed on Sunday, bringing my grand total to 977. I have, of course, begun the next. It is unseasonably warm so what I should do it go out to the garage and make more tarn for future beds, but right now I have a mason jar of hot tea and two phones to monitor.

Thank goodness you were not injured, we have this problem with Kangaroos, they are so fast you don't get time to stop.
