It was an unusual week, as you can see from today's scrapbook page. I think this was the most times I've been out of the house since I started working from home. At some point I need to go out to the garage and resume cutting up Anthrocon Security t-shirts, but I don't want to go that far without Jebra home to make sure I get there and back without falling. If I do fall, I'll be on the ground until someone strong comes along to pull me up.

Anyway, the wedding was small and very nice. The only people in attendance I knew were the bride's father and the minister (Jebra), but I had a good time and enjoyed the music. Which, when it wasn't Vocaloid, was music from the 70s to 90s. I had never heard of Vocaloid before reading their wedding announcement on weebly.com. I like the music and wish I knew the bride and groom better as they seem like very interesting people with a strong interest in Japan, anime, and computer gaming. (Not that I know much about manga nor any computer games past Solitaire, Mahjongg, and Five or More.) It's the music and anime that interest me.

Saturday was a First Saturday, so there was both an in-person Ingress event that I was pretty sure we wouldn't get to because of how late we were out Friday night and SEMGS in Ann Arbor. We slept in that morning and missed the Ingress thing, but did attend SEMGS which was nice. One of friends made his own cheese and I tried and liked it, which surprised me as it was sorta like America but made from Parmesan which is not one of my favorites. Theme was grilled sandwiches, along with ice cream, blueberry pie, chocolate cake, and a wonderful cherry cobbler. Once again we got home late.

Getting up in time for my online knitting & crochet group wasn't much fun as I was very tired, but it was good seeing everyone. During that I worked on the current cat bed, but switched to the knitted bird's nest when I went with Jebra to the Swing Syndicate's rehearsal. They sounded great to my ears but I won't be at the concert due to how late it begins and wanting to be awake the following Sunday.

Monday was devoted to work, but Tuesday morning we got up early so that I could have my annual appointment with my genecologist. She didn't spot anything wrong but I guess I won't know for sure until I have this year's mammogram. No pap smear this year since I'm on the every-three-years protocol, and I was surprised to learn that next year, when I turn 65 will be my last.

The rest of the day was spent working for Ariza and then at least an hour and a half on my exercise bike. I'm still trying for two hours of biking each night but things like weddings and concerts get in the way.

The bird's nest shown on today's page is the Guild's current charity project. They're being knit for some wild bird rehab place. I said I'd make three so I have two more to do before next Tuesday. I'm starting to feel the pressure to work on them even though I don't really feel like knitting at present.

Hope you all have a great week.
