Once again, I don't know what to tell you about this week. I'm hoping that now Christmas is here I will have an easier time keeping up with everything. Although apparently not today as I'm in the middle of a mostly non-holiday film festival. Or tomorrow as that's day 2 of the film festival.

Pat and I are having a quiet day, but then we're going to a friend's house in a small town outside of Gainesville for dinner tonight. There will be a lot of people there, so that should be nice.

I spent the afternoon watching videos with my online friends. Tonight Jebra and I will watch Die Hard and eat carry-out Chinese

Our dinner with friends was great. The hostess has two big dogs, and they are both incredibly sweet, so I spent a lot of time petting them and talking to them and I got a face full of doggie kisses. I came home covered in doghair and happy!

That sounds like the perfect night to me. Would you believe none of our close friends own dogs? Cats, yes. Dogs? Not a one. I don't understand it myself as I love dogs and have wanted one ever since I've been with Jebra.

Cats are fine. They're interesting and can be entertaining. But dogs? They're the best creatures on the planet. Nothing but love walking on paws.
