I left the house three days in a row. Whee! I was going to skip the concert at the church as it conflicted with my Sunday craft group, but instead I just hung out with them for an hour and then left with Jebra. I made the right choice as it really was an excellent concert. I was very impressed by piece one of the student musicians composed. I think he ought to pursue music as a career but that is not his intended field of study.
Yesterday, between client phone calls, I finished another cat bed and started the next. During Sunday's concert I worked on knitting a hat. That one is bottom up (as most of my hats are) and I have about three inches knit so far. I'm struggling with the pattern even though it is quite simple, being a 4 row repeat and two of the rows being alternate knit and twisted stitches. Somehow I keep getting lost and doubling one or the other, which means tinking until I get back to the error. The hat is my knit-while-away-from-home project, so it won't be done for quite a while. I'll show it off once it is complete.

Date: 2024-05-22 03:23 pm (UTC)J and I were the last FCB peeps out of the building -- we put all the chairs away in the choir room before we left, hopefully making their music director's life a little bit easier.
I didn't get home until after 6, and J was even later. (I stopped to pick up pizza, and he stopped to get something at Menard's.)
