A minimal amount of yard work has been accomplished since last week. Between work, rain, and general exhaustion, neither of us has been able or willing to really go at it. Who knows, maybe tonight will be better. At least we aren't having another heat wave.

Doing yard work during a heat wave isn't a good idea for anyone. Hope things are going well!

Slow but steady. Heat hasn't been as much of an issue as time and being older than we used to be. We last around two hours, two and a half on a good day. I'd hoped to be able to go out twice a day on the weekends, but so far haven't managed. Keeping up with life, working full time, and fitting the yard in is not easy!

I can't do yard work the way I used to, either. Then again, the things I planted in the '90s and early '00s are now gigantic. I want to rip them out, pave them over, and have a patch of grass the size of a postage stamp.

Ditto. The husband has wondered (aloud) how much it would cost to pave the area behind the garage. And I've thought about Astroturf.
