Jebra left Friday morning to volunteer at the Elkhart Jazz Festival. I stayed home to care for Fiona and best of all, sleep. I woke up somewhere around 2:00 in the afternoon and took it easy the rest of the weekend.
Monday Jebra took me to work and then took our van in for maintenance as it was making sounds he didn't like. It turns out this was a good idea as the van needed new engine mounts plus a new axle and wheel bearings. At least the repair was under 1K this time. And the wheels didn't fall off while he was driving.
In mom news, she appears to be enjoying her new digs. They have things like sing-alongs and bingo and a dining room for when she doesn't want to cook and I think this is going to work out well for her.
