We voted before "work" yesterday. Yes, I'm still going in, yes we still have a ton of stuff here, and no, I'm not really working on getting more of my crap out of the building. I think much of it will go under our kitchen table but first we have to move the stuff that is blocking access to the one side. And there's been little time to do it. I need daylight hours to see what's going on (the light over the dining table does not work) and the weekend was overly full. Ingress and SEMGS took up much of Saturday and then Jebra played with the Swing Band at a late night concert (it began at 10:30 pm). We had to leave SEMGS early for him to take me home and get himself to the venue to set up. He was exhausted on Sunday so I wasn't going to bother him about moving stuff.
Today I had a virtual meeting with MichiganWorks! which is apparently designed to verify people have actually seen the resources available to them. I didn't learn a darn thing other than have a first look at the GoTo app which was required for my virtual meeting. It looks a whole lot like Zoom.

Date: 2023-11-08 11:09 pm (UTC)I looked at another villa, which is basically a townhouse that's one story. The first one was a bust. The old couple decided that they didn't want to move out. What a pain in the ass. They don't go on sale very often. I'm waiting to hear if this couple takes my offer. Then I have to be approved by the hoa. This neighborhood is right down the street. It's not the perfect location, but it has mostly what I want in a place. Nothing's perfect. I wanted to get out of Florida, but I couldn't figure out how to make that happen or where to go.
