I'm rushed for time today, but that does not explain why the text on today's page does not exactly match the photos. Yesterday was my however many month post surgery checkup with my surgeon. I am cleared to begin exercising again and am very happy to be back on my exercise bike. I'm starting slow, with just 35 or 40 minutes of biking last night. That was enough to work up a sweat but not so much that I'm sore today. The surgeon's verdict on my knees was bone-on-bone underneath the kneecaps, and bone spurs too, but don't get surgery until the pain becomes relentless. (There's currently no pain breaking through my usual dose of Tylenol Arthritis.)

Mom gets her hip surgery tomorrow. Assuming I can keep that thought in my head, I'll call to wish her luck later today.

My missing bottle of medicine turned up this morning. It was a fluke I even found the thing as it was not in a place I would have looked except by accident, which is exactly what I did. It was laying down on a shelf in the kitchen, beside the box of parchment paper. Jebra put it there when it arrived and told me what he'd done but that was over a month ago and I'd completely forgotten.
