I'm delighted to have finally finished the ZickZack scarf. This was very slo w knitting on size 2 needles; I timed my speed and averaged one row every 15 minutes. I lost track of how many times I told myself I had only another day to go before I would run out of yarn only to discover the yarn balls were still the size of an egg when I finished for the night. I showed it off at Guild yesterday and received quite a few compliments.
I finally managed to get on the phone with my mother this morning. She sounded bright & positive, which was a huge relief. Her hips have been causing her all sorts of pain; she received a cortisone shot yesterday and that seems to have helped. She wants and needs surgery but can't have it until she's stronger.
My own surgery is only fifteen days out and I need get the required blood draw soon. I have a list of approved laboratories; picking one and finding a time I can go is what's holding me up.
The Lovecrafting pin on today's page was a gift from our friend Laura. Jebra returned from MAGFest it.
Scrapbook papers & elements from the kit Bohemian Breeze
