Question for one_raido and other crocheters

I play zigsaw puzzles online and saw this one today: https://thejigsawpuzzles.com/Handmade/Prayer-Shawl-jigsaw-puzzle?cutout=20classic — do you think it was made on the diagonal or was the image rotated 45 degrees? I'm not exactly sure how the stitch works either but I do like how it turned out. Seems like it would be a good project for left-overs.
