Holy cats! I nearly forgot to post today's page. Maybe that's proof of what a boring week this was. My knitting guild changed the rules and now we're only Zooming once a month instead of every Tuesday. In person meetings are still going forward on the second Tuesday but I'm finding I am missing my guild sisters a heck of a lot. We skipped the Thanksgiving week meeting because of (you guessed it, Thanksgiving) and last night's because of Hanukkah.

Mom was doing just fine when I spoke with her on Thanksgiving. My brother Brad and assorted other family members were at her house and Brad cooked a feast for everyone. I believe my mother said she would have enough left-overs to last her well into December.

Sounds like our Thanksgiving - we had chicken and mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. (J, rather facetiously I think, suggested Kentucky Fried Chicken for Thanksgiving dinner, but I just couldn't see that happening*. So I did oven 'fried' chicken the way Mum did....)

(* the nearest KFC is on the other side of Ann Arbor, I think; I'm not real fond of KFC anyway; *and* I'm not a fan of making other people work on a holiday so I don't have to.)
