Jebra attended Fiasco on Friday and Saturday while I stayed home with Fiona and worked my various crafts. Over the course of the week I finished two hats and two cat beds. The beds are destined for this weekend's Motor City Furry Con auction.

Sunday was supposed to be the FCB at the Franklin Cider Mill. It was raining when we left the house but warm and dry when the actual concert time arrived. Unfortunately the concert had already been canceled at that point. I tried to zoom with the Minneapolis Stitch & Bitch group while we were in the car and found it a frustrating experience. The zoom was still going strong when we arrived back at the house so I stayed on and got some knitting done.

Mom was doing okay when I spoke to her earlier in the week. Jebra's folks are also doing okay. If they are still in Michigan in two weeks I expect Jebra will travel north to see them.

What with all the convention related stuff he's doing, there's been no time to work on fixing the yard. Although we did get another seven bags of yard waste picked up on trash/recycling/compost day.

Last night we rushed home and then went to get our flu shots before my Zoom with the knitting guild. I feel okay but I think I'm stressed out as I managed to bite through my new bite guard in only three nights. I bought crazy glue on the way to work this morning and have glued the broken parts of my original guard back together. Hopefully between that and the one silicon guard I have left I will make it to my next dental appointments (where I will be getting a new "real" bite guard) without breaking any teeth. That's what convinced me to get a guard in the first place, two broken teeth in two weeks.

It rained here nearly all afternoon Sunday - there was a "sucker hole" of dry that came through about 12:30, but then the rain clouds came back. I was kind of following the radar, and it showed rain in Franklin after 3:30. And it was damp when it wasn't raining....

Try again next week!

EGADS! You bit through your nightguard! I've had mine for years, and I haven't bitten through it. But then, I once broke a tooth on an oatmeal cookie, so probably it's more likely I'd break a tooth than bite through the guard.

I send you good vibes for it hanging together until you see the dentist!

I'm glad to hear that both your families are okay.

My flu shot is coming up, too. I was going to pick-up the paper work so I don't have to take time standing in a crowd. but I botched that today. Now I have to figure out when to do that, because I want to get my flu shot next week. Thursday is a terrible day to go to the grocery where the pharmacy is, because it's the first day of the sale. I should have got my act together today.

I don't know how I missed that on the first read, but I did. Wow. I didn't know you could bite through a guard. That had to hurt.
