This was another quiet week as I wait for my second COVID-19 vaccine. The worst thing that happened was I sliced the dickens out my right-hand pinky finger's knuckle while cleaning out a can. I didn't need stitches but good heavens did it bleed.
I'm not sure what was the best thing that happened this week. Nothing really stands out; I made progress on my current knitting project (a hat), finished two cat beds, watched an old episode of Death in Paradise with Jebra, went for a fairly long walk at Madison Heights Civic Center...
Jebra's folks are well, my mom was in a great mood when we talked for about 30 seconds on Monday, and that's as much I have to say.

Date: 2021-04-07 01:26 am (UTC)Robert and I pretty much only go out for family related events and groceries. And we're okay with that. I'm fairly sure I'm going to keep wearing my mask for the foreseeable future. It's been nice not to get the flu or colds this last winter. Had my 2nd shot today so I'm kinda in a holding pattern waiting to see how bad the reaction is going to be, lol. Rachel had her first jab today (which, she actually had a positive covid test but was asymptomatic early in the year then had a mild case the week after her bridal shower. So I'm hoping her reaction doesn't hit her too hard either). Everybody says it's usually the 2nd one that makes you feel worse, was true for Robert but he was over it by day 4.
