This was another quiet week as I wait for my second COVID-19 vaccine. The worst thing that happened was I sliced the dickens out my right-hand pinky finger's knuckle while cleaning out a can. I didn't need stitches but good heavens did it bleed.

I'm not sure what was the best thing that happened this week. Nothing really stands out; I made progress on my current knitting project (a hat), finished two cat beds, watched an old episode of Death in Paradise with Jebra, went for a fairly long walk at Madison Heights Civic Center...

Jebra's folks are well, my mom was in a great mood when we talked for about 30 seconds on Monday, and that's as much I have to say.

So do I. And she was a social butterfly before the pandemic so I know isolation is rough on her. Hopefully being happier will help her body fight off any and all germs & viruses. For sure being depressed can be a factor in becoming ill.
