This was another quiet week as I wait for my second COVID-19 vaccine. The worst thing that happened was I sliced the dickens out my right-hand pinky finger's knuckle while cleaning out a can. I didn't need stitches but good heavens did it bleed.

I'm not sure what was the best thing that happened this week. Nothing really stands out; I made progress on my current knitting project (a hat), finished two cat beds, watched an old episode of Death in Paradise with Jebra, went for a fairly long walk at Madison Heights Civic Center...

Jebra's folks are well, my mom was in a great mood when we talked for about 30 seconds on Monday, and that's as much I have to say.

Ouch, babe. That sucks. I hurt thinking about it. I hope you're Mom stays healthy. We're not even close to having herd immunity. When do you get your second vaccine. That's pretty soon isn't it. I still have 3 weeks, I think. I still wish I could have gotten Johnson and Johnson. No having to run around. I'm still very grateful to haven gotten the first Moderna. I don't even want to see the news tonight. The numbers are just going up and up, because of the crazy. These states have got to get themselves under control. Florida never has been under control. Our governor has never gave a damn.

I hope she stays well too, especially since I think she's had only her first shot so far. On the positive side, she isn't casually mentioning suicide due to loneliness and boredom. That always concerns me especially since I'm so far away from her home. I suspect just sitting out on her front porch or back deck and talking for a few hours would alleviate some of her struggle.

I get my second shot a week from today (Thursday the 8th). Jebra gets his the following Monday morning.

I wish I had something useful to say. You have to worry about her be it her mental health or her physical health. Have you got to see her yet?

I'm glad you're almost completely vaccinated. I need to check the date, but I think I have three weeks to go.

I haven't seen my mom since December 2019. :-( I doubt I will lay eyes on her until May as I won't be fully protected until a few days before she gets on an airplane and flies to South Carolina to spend a few weeks with my sister KC.

I so hate to hear that. It's getting closer which has to be at least something to look forward to. It just seems to be taking a ridiculous amount of time to get the vaccines out to people.

I keep waiting to stop felling like this. I still cry over mine all the time. I keep wondering when that stops. Maybe when I get moved and that I'm in my own place.I'm so paralyzed that I just don't accomplish any thing.
