Date: 2017-01-01 01:59 pm (UTC)I'm hoping -- indeed, expecting -- that our new state representative will be as good in that job as he was as mayor.
In the much shorter term (NPI), I need to keep reminding myself that the Tournament of Roses parade is on Monday, not today, because they never have the parade on a Sunday. The original reason was so the parade wouldn't scare the horses tethered outside churches while their people attended Sunday service. Now? Because it's Tradition.
