We went up north over the weekend and I was exposed to far more televised politics than is good for my mental health. That's my only excuse as to why I altered my photo from Cops & Doughnuts. We stopped there on the way home; first time we've been and I think we'll return the next time we go through Clare. The doughnuts weren't great but they were tasty and next time I want to try one of their oatmeal raisin & date cookies. I would have tried one on Sunday if I hadn't already placed my order.

Monday was the last FCB concert with the full band for the 50th Season. The Jazz Band will play on Thursday and that will be the final concert of the season. The band takes the entire month of August off; practice will resume in September and the next concert won't be until October.
