The big event of the week was the 50th anniversary concert for the Farmington Community Band. The concert went well and our families and friends enjoyed it. I enjoyed it too but I was stressed out by having so much family in town and worrying that something would go wrong or that someone would insist on visiting the tip in which we live store our stuff and sleep. I woke up with a cough and sore throat Monday morning and seeing as I haven't been sick in two and a half years, I'd say all that stress got to me.

Now that the concert is over I'd like to concentrate on getting the house cleaned up and more stuff out of it. Not that I think this will happen — the FCB's 50th Season isn't over yet (three more concerts to go) and I'm willing to bet that jebra will insist we take some weekends off to visit his parents or go to Ionia and see my mom. I want to see them too but there are only so many weekends and by the time we're home from work I'm too tired to deal with the house.
