Last week was busy with work and doctor appointments. I saw my sleep apnea specialist, my GP, the eye doctor, and as usual went to the allergist's for my shots. Spring is definitely here and although I'm loving the warmer weather and watching the flowers come up, I am not enjoying the return of itchy eyes and ears.

The weekend was busy with concerts. On Saturday several of the FCB's subgroups were scheduled to perform at the Farmington Festival of the Arts. The one most important to me was the Dixieland Band as that was the one [livejournal.com profile] jebra was performing with that afternoon. I went with him, but I could not stay awake. I pretty much slept through the entire thing, including when the kids from the Detroit School of Rock played at full volume. It wasn't until we were on the way home that I figured out why I couldn't keep my eyes open — the four cups of coffee I'd downed before we left the house were decaf.

Sunday was another series of concerts, this time in a truly beautiful space with great acoustics. And I was awake for the entire thing as this time I had caffeine first.
