You know I'm sick when not even knitting sounds good

The PA I saw this morning diagnosed me with bronchitis and prescribed antibiotics and a cough suppressant. I've been home on the couch ever since.

Meanwhile, we weren't the only people who weren't at work today. Late this afternoon I received word that the boss is in the hospital; he had a stent put in this morning. Apparently he wasn't feeling well, went to the doctor (or maybe directly to the hospital, the details weren't clear) and was diagnosed with 80% blockage. Eeep.

I'm on the mend, I'm happy to report. And my boss, he's back at work today and looks and sounds just like his normal self. He's a wonder, he is.

I'm working on it. At least the coughing is down to a manageable level. And my energy level is up, although if I feel like this again tomorrow, I'm going to have to give Nia a miss. I don't want to risk becoming winded and having that turn into a coughing fit.

I'm feeling better. And George is his normal self -- he's here today, looking and sounding like his same old self. Other than a lifetime taking Plavix and recommendation that if you need heart catherization you have it done through your wrist and not the groin, he's the same guy he was last Friday.

I know how you feel; I used to get bronchitis alot when I was a child up to my early twenties and it was never fun. Please get well soon, sweetie. *hugs you* I hope your boss gets better, too. 80% blockage is very scary. Eeep is so right.

We're both back to work today, and he looks like, and sounds like, he feels a whole lot better than I do. Which is not to say I'm not getting better -- I am, just not as fast as I'd like. Oh well, I suppose two full years of work without missing a single day to illness was too much to hope for!

Thanks for the hugs and wishes, and now that I'm no longer contageous, {hugs} back.
