You sound like me when I used to work at Walmart in the craft department. I bought material and lace and thread and patterns then I bought a sewing machine. I taught myself how to sew. I never got great at it, but I enjoyed it while it lasted. I still have way too much cloth, lol.

I tried knitting and crocheting when I was a kid, but I never got the hang of it. I admire you doing it. :)

Man, I'd be *so* broke if I worked at a craft store or a store with a craft department!

I don't sew well and don't think I ever will. Physically it seems to be a lot harder on my body and when I sew tend to have my stuff spread over a very large space. Like the entire lunch room at work. I don't have that kind of space at home, which is why most of my sewing stuff has migrated to work. I fear the day he gets sick of seeing it and orders me to take it all home, as I have this horrible suspicion I have much more than one or two car loads of personal crap hiding in the various nooks & crannies around the building.
