For me, the highlight was meeting Venus DeMille and attending two of her panels (Top-hats and Corsets: Stylized Victoriana from Melodram to Michael Jackson and Beyond and Girlie Show: Burlesque Costumes).

The worst part was discovering someone de-stashing their yarn collection in the Huckster's Room. So much for decluttering my house. I bought so much yarn it filled two kitchen trash bags.

Something else. It's the annual Science Fiction convention hosted by the Ann Arbor Science Fiction Association. If you're curious, their web page about it is here. It's a fun regional SF con. We've been going for years and I think I read in the program guide that it is also Michigan's oldest running SF convention.
