Arrived at hotel
Feb. 22nd, 2013 07:31 pmY'all know I get lost a lot, right? Well we took a wrong turn (the GPS lied) and found ourselves in Camden New Jersey. I've never been in NJ before so I was amused by the detour. Perhaps I am a little *too* used to getting lost. Jebra, on the other hand, was furious at the GPS and even more upset when we had to pay a $5 toll to cross the bridge in the other direction.
I figure $5 to add another state to the list I've ever been in wasn't bad at all.
I am relieved to be here and off the roads. City driving makes me nervous as does driving in icy conditions. We started with the later and ended in the former.
Tomorrow I hope to explore the area around our hotel by foot. I am told Betsy Ross' house is within walking distance. One of the US Mints is right across the street.
