Quickie update and remembering Betagoddess

We're on our way up to jebra's folks' place for the weekend. Happy Father's Day to those on my flist who are fathers.

No new news in my life, other than my hands no longer love me. Too much typing and too much knitting, I suppose. I finished a pair of pink fingerless mittens for one of my sister's co-workers and working with those tiny needles really hurt. I've taken two days off from knitting and my hands are still sore.

I don't have much to say about betagoddess other than I miss her all the time. It really seemed like she knew everyone on LJ and she never had a bad word to say about anyone. Her 60th birthday would have been tomorrow, but since I don't know what my internet connectivity will be like up north, I'm posting it today.
