Failed B&E

One of my sister-in-law's friends complained that she doesn't have time to decorate for Christmas. The friend was supposed to be out of town for Thanksgiving, so yesterday we went to her house intending to retrieve her spare key and decorate for her. We were failures at B&E though -- the friend was home when we rang the doorbell. This didn't stop us from decorating though, it just meant my sister-in-law, nephew, and my s-i-l's niece got to do it with an audience. I'm pleased to report that the friend's living room looked quite festive when they finished and the gesture was much appreciated by the friend.
