Date: 2009-10-22 06:11 am (UTC)I started knitting a scarf using merino wool yarn in colors gray and black. I've been just doing a simple k2, p2 row; p2 k2 row, etc but decided the scarf might end up too "stiff". Looking at yours, while I like the bias stitch ones, I know I wouldn't be able to keep track considering I only do a few rows a day and usually while I am watching TV (no, I can't concentrate on both). I've been wondering what else I could try and am now considering the moss stitch.
The gray yarn was originally used along with burgundy in a garter stitch scarf, but I'd made it too short & too wide (well, also a mouse had chewed a hole in part of the burgundy so I washed the scarf) & I just wasn't happy with it to begin with anyway so I took it apart (and am reusing the gray with black).
