*shudders* I've seen 3 bees, either honey or yellowjacket. One in my car: I had to kill it because it would not fly back out. The 2nd: flew close to my car window, then disappeared inside my driver side mirror. The 3rd: might be the same one, possibly nested in the mirror. Ugh. I keep forgetting to check somehow.

Our currant bush flowered about two weeks ago and the bumblebees found it immediately. *g*

We've been seeing bees for several weeks. I especially like bumblebees, I think they're pretty funny for some reason. And I've even seen several honeybees already this year.

I love it when the coneflower and sage gets into full bloom in the front bed, and I have some kind of excuse to go weed or something; I like to stick my head into the middle of dozens of bees and listen to them buzz. It makes me smile.
