Project 52

(If the image refuses to load, you should be able to see it in a new tab by clicking here.)

I left the house twice this week. That's either amazing or horrifying, since the previous time I set so much as a toe outside our house was on January 14th.

Lee's visitation was, at times, really nice and really hard. I wasn't all that close to him but I started thinking about my adoptive father and wishing my family was as emotionally as close as his.

Sometime over the past week I finished another cat bed. I lost count as to how many that one makes, but no matter, I will know once it is washed and photographed for Ravelry.

I skipped meeting with the Cranky Women Friday night as the previous week so much time was spent talking politics and the future that my anxiety cranked to twelve (because 11 wasn't bad enough). I did join my Starsky & Hutch friends on Saturday and my online crafting friends on Sunday.

If you need advice about Medicare, hit me up. First of all - stay the hell away from Advantage Plans. They are cheaper, but they are NOT MEDICARE, which makes them FAR more unreliable, and likely to not cover something well.

Get Medicare A and B - that's essential! Then if you can afford it, look at a supplemental plan. Plan G is the best. If you can't afford that, look at something as close to what it offers as possible. United Health (Yes, the AARP program) has decent plans.

Since you have medications, look into a supplemental drug plan. Plan C with Medicare is not going to cover everything you might need. Talk with someone about it. There is a website where you can put in your medications and find companies with supplemental plans that cover your particular meds. Pick the best one you can afford.

But first and foremost - run away from "Medicare Advantage." It actually removes you from Medicare! You do not want to fall into that trap.
