The con was a blast and I'm so glad I was able to attend. Even though my internet connection refused to play nice and I had to Zoom through my phone not my laptop. Because of the con I did not join the Cranky Women on Friday, go to a friend's house on Saturday, join my knitting friends online on Sunday or attend the FCB concert at the Cider Mill. I also got zero knitting and crochet time as I was too busy watching the action and trying to read the comments on my phone's screen.
Baaaaad SH Theater: Flatfoot Follies was delightfully performed by puppets and defies description. My favorites, not counting Starsky or Hutch, were Flamingo and Saint Anne. We have amazingly talented folk in the fandom and they do things that seem like magic to me. I have no clue how they create videos or where they get some of their story ideas.
Yesterday our absentee ballots arrived. I will be glad when the election is over as I am sick of political ads. I will be less glad if a certain orange menace is elected. I'm apprehensive over the whole thing and discovered yesterday that one of my friends does not like Harris. I'm not surprised but I had hoped he'd changed his viewpoint.
I finished a cat bed last night, which was good, but I have so much yarn in the house. I'm afraid next week's Guild meeting will result in me having even more.
In reading news, I've moved on and have started Purrfect Harmony (The Mysteries of Max Book 36. I finished Ido Graf's Stamp Out and didn't like it at all. I'm going back to talking cats as they are a lot more fun. I also finally remembered to look on Hoopla to see if any are available there. Six are listed in their catalog and, to my surprise, all six are audiobooks. I have nothing against audiobooks, but I was hoping for text versions of the stories.
