On Saturday, the South East Michigan Gluttony Society (SEMGS) met at our friends' house in Canton on their new back patio, under their even newer canopy. The patio and canopy is large enough to accommodate all eight of us quite comfortably with room to spare. The theme was Mediterranean food. This translated to pizza for all but one person, who made a Greek chicken dish. We also had fresh fruit and two types of desert, lemon cookies and some sort of lemon jelly thing. Which I loved even though I have no idea what it is called.
I don't believe I finished any projects, but I have a cat bed underway and a charity hat on my knitting needles. The hat is taking some time as I'm making up the pattern as I go along. I plan to post it to Ravelry as a free pattern if it looks good when I'm finished.
Thankfully, I have finished reading The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' Cat, and have moved on to Purrfect Ruse (The Mysteries of Max Book 33). Although, like Sherlock Holmes' Cat, this series also contains talking cats, the two series are nothing alike and these are actually pretty good. I'm going to pick up more if and when they appear as free books on eReaderIQ.
