I saw the Cranky Women online Friday night, and joined the Starsky & Hutch chat on Saturday. I enjoyed both. I'm not sure if they were more enjoyable than Sunset Boulevard but I'm inclined to say that they were. This was the first time I'd seen any form of Sunset Boulevard; I think watching the DVD beforehand would have helped me understand some of the action on the stage. I'm pretty sure the movie is not a musical while this production was and that made figuring out what was going on challenging as well as the lyrics were difficult to hear over the musicians. Nevertheless, I particularly enjoyed the costumes and the way the set was decorated.
Sunday was supposed to be online crafting but I could not get Facebook to cooperate. I don't know what the problem was, but while I tried to get online with them my computer hung and then I could not get it to boot. Jebra had to work his magic on it before it would. My phone also refused to work for the chat; maybe Facebook disabled the non-app version of Messenger?
On Sunday Jebra got the enormous monitor he's been asking for and tried to start using it. It did not go well as he didn't have the right cables and wouldn't until he yesterday when he went to MicroCenter. Since his desk is in the basement I haven't seen it in action yet but apparently he's having mouse problems and maybe keyboard issues as well. I expect he'll eventually get it all worked out.
Yesterday we had to get up stupidly early for a dentist appointments. Or we thought we did after the half hour drive there we were told they'd tried to call to let us know the technician had called in sick. They did call, but once again my phone let me down and didn't ring or show me the call until we were back at the house. On the bright side we stopped at Maatouk Bakery for breads and spinach pies.
