In mom news, she is supposed to move to a new assisted living facility sometime today. She is on Cloud 9 knowing she's getting out of the nursing home. Her new digs will be some sort of studio apartment. I'm hoping it is as nice as it is in her imagination.
In crafting news, I finished a kitten-sized cat bed over the weekend. And last night I turned in both of the chemo caps I knit earlier. The guild met near the big tree on the church's property and it was very nice. The temperature was just right and the bugs didn't start to come out until our scheduled quitting time. I worked on another chemo cap and tried out my new folding chair.

I skipped meeting with the Cranky Women last Friday, but I ran the Twin Cities Stitch & Bitch Sunday as usual. When that wrapped up we drove to downtown Royal Oak and walked for nearly three hours. I hurt so bad when we were done that I didn't spend any time on my exercise bike when we got back to the house and I avoided going down to the basement as I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it back up the stairs. This was probably wise as even with pain medicine I could not find a position that didn't hurt when I tried to go to sleep.
On the positive side, we are up to Level 7 in Ingress. I have no idea how long that took me the first time I undertook the march to Level 15 (the highest level) but I'm positive it was more than year. This time, playing together, we made it there in only eight days.
In the car we're still listening to A Libertarian Walked into a Bear and enjoying it greatly. At home, Honky Tonk Samurai is still waiting for me to get back to it. Maybe I should see about obtaining the Kindle version as then it would be on me when I have a few minutes to read.
