I did not have the weekend I expected as somehow the message that I am done with Bridge Walks did not get conveyed and since the cabin was rented, I sent Jebra up to the bridge while I stayed home and tried to get Fiona to eat. She's acting normal (for Fiona levels of normal) so I have no idea why she's reduced her food intake to about half of what it was. I don't know if it is because that's how she's reacting to the hot weather or if her mouth hurts or what. I don't want to take her to the vet (assuming I can catch & crate her which is not a given) because the last time she went it damn near killed her.

The best part of my weekend was seeing everyone after not having any Virtual Stitch & Bitch meetings for over a month. I had cancelled them due to needing to get more work done on the yard plus feeling burnt out from hosting. I'm going to move to having the meetings on the first and third Sundays with the exception of this Sunday.

J rented the lodge because he wanted to (and the campground was closed). He invited the usual suspects, and some declined and some didn't. Even if no-one had come up to share the lodge, it would have been cheaper than a hotel room in Mackinaw City. (and if we'd had a room in MC, our friends wouldn't have been able to join us.)

I am sorry to hear that Fiona is not eating, again.

Yard work is hard. I've been avoiding it because it's hot. And I was gone for a couple of weeks. (grin)
