The weather really hasn't been kind to us. It was cold and damp when we got home Monday night and last night it started raining just as I was getting out of the van. I have no idea what the weather was like over the weekend as I didn't leave the house. There was no point to it as Jebra had gone north to see his parents and attend his high school reunion.

I spent the weekend watching and deleting shows off the DVR and crocheting cat beds. I knocked out three over the weekend, one big enough to fit a Maine Coon. We brought all of the new ones to work with us on Monday and updated my project page for the beds. I'm up to 903 cat beds and still have t-shirts left to turn into tarn and more cat beds.

Wow. I feel like a slacker. I still haven't got this living room dealt with or found a house.

You shouldn't, if you ask me. My living room is an absolute tip (UK for dumpster, just in case). Our bedroom is better, but my home office is not and I haven't been down to the basement in probably a month (and the trips before that were maybe six months ago). The basement is full of everything from laundry (clean and dirty), percussion gear, computers, camping crap, and stuff Jebra wants to keep. Oh, and a dozen or so boxes of my good yarn plus the t-shirts that haven't migrated to the garage to become tarn. Oh, and a spinning wheel I don't know how to use and two or three of my deceased adoptive mother's good purses that I haven't done a damn thing with in all the time I've owned them. Good grief, that's sixty years of not wanting to dispose of them but having no practical use either. *huge sigh* Life and Adulting is hard.

I'm not a fan of adulting either. Probably because I suck at it. I got a lot of writing done, but that didn't help with the mess and the things I need to get done to get moved.

It turns out that not only adulting is hard, so is math. I've had my mom's purses for fifty years, not sixty . I've had them since I was 13; you'd think I could subtract that from 63 without making an error. *sigh*

Thank you, sweetie. I've been looking at houses on line. That's about all I've accomplished today that and the trash, the recycle, a drive-thru a new neighborhood and pick-up the mail. I can't believe I haven't worked on the living room today. One day I will get adulting under control.

How goes the yard?

Not well this week. I wanted to work in the yard yesterday, but Jebra said he was supposed to meet Mike (one of our beloved friends and fellow musician) at Nardin Park where Dave Bennett would be playing with the idea of asking him to be a guest performer for the FCB. Mike didn't show and Jebra didn't ask Dave Bennett. I was not happy about it, tried to tell him so, and was shut down. The weather was supposed to be good today. Instead we're having wind, rain, and thunder. Possibly lightening too but I haven't actually seen any. Maybe the weather will clear up before we leave work and maybe it won't be too wet to do anything. Hopefully the weather will cooperate tomorrow and over the weekend. I don't know what Jebra has planned for Monday and Tuesday after work. I know he's playing in a concert next Wednesday and the following day he leaves for Chicago to work a convention.
