In no particular order:

I spoke with me mom a couple of times this week and she sounded like she's doing well. And hanging out with her brother and his wife which also makes her happy.

Jebra played his first TubaChristmas event on Sunday. I did not go; I stayed home and chatted with my friends on Google Meet. And last night I met up on Zoom with the women from K2TOG Minneapolis which was also fun.

I survived another session of physical therapy but good heavens am I in pain for a few days afterwards. I don't have an appointment this week as my person is out; I need to call and schedule my next session. Finding time to go is proving difficult as there is just so much holiday stuff going on after work.

We went to see Elf. I wasn't exactly bored but there were times I found myself thinking "Will this ever end?" and "How long until I can go home?" My biggest complaint was that the songs were too repetitive. If they were shorter I think I'd have enjoyed the story more.

I started knitting an old-fashioned beret www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/vintage-vibes-beret. As usual for me, I am having some difficulty with the pattern. This is the first time I've encountered moving markers to reset the the start of a row. Hopefully that is the only oddness in this pattern.

We played Ingress in Southfield and, virtually, in Gibraltar for our Ingress First Saturday event. Once again we scored very well and I got an "Dammmn [profile] mrssweetpeach did half of the recharging herself 😅" from Roz. I didn't really, but I did outscore the next highest player by a goodly margin. Jebra and I both leveled up during the event. According to the extrapolation thing, we won't reach the highest level until February of 2024.

The SEMGS meeting was lightly attended but I greatly enjoyed seeing everyone and our Thanksgiving-like dinner. And watching Jebra interact with Spot and Champ. Spot adores Jebra (and vice versa). Champ, for a six year old German Shepherd Dog is way too hyper. He's also very possessive of his toys. He won't drop them and if you try to grab it from him, it turns into a game of tug-of-war that he will win. In my case, he'd drop his toy but only into my knitting bag and if I'd try to retrieve it, he'd quickly grab it himself. He also snatched up my ball of yarn a few times. Eventually I moved my bag under my chair and that solved both problems.
