Except for last night's outing to The Yarn Stop, everything of note can be found within the image. About a dozen of the Black Sheep gathered at the shop for social knitting and the opportunity to buy yarn. I had cleverly hidden my purchase in the bottom of my knitting bag but when it was time to get into the van afterwards, Jebra didn't want to let me in as I wasn't hauling multiple bags of yarn with me and I was therefore an imposter. So I had to confess that I did not escape the shop without buying a half dozen or so skeins. Two of the skeins were dyed specifically for the store by Black Cat Fibers and are a gorgeous mixture of black, red, and purple. Some day at least one of the skeins will become a shawl. The other skeins are destined to become a wrap very much like the one knit by CanIKnitNow.
In mom news, she was so bored she decided she had to find out if she remembers how to crochet and asked me for ideas. I suggested she pick up a skein of cotton yarn and try to make a washcloth as they are small projects and useful. This was over the weekend; I should call again today and find out how it went.
In Jebra's folks' news, they should be getting a new roof on their house this week. I haven't heard yet how that's going.
