Last night the knitting guild held social knitting on the church's lawn again. We didn't think we'd have any more nice days but the temperature was still in the 70s when I left work. A dozen of us met for just about two hours. Most of us are still working on our Davis Blankets but other projects were there to be admired as well. I divided my time between the blanket and yet another Citrus Hat.

Monday night, while Jebra was at band practice, I worked on the current cat bed. I finished two over the weekend, one of which was washed and one wasn't. This means I have eleven in my stash of completed beds and I need to have Jebra pick out two to take to Motor City Furry Con next week. Those will be put in the charity auction. This year's charity it Detroit Hives so there's no point in him bringing more than will go to auction.

Friday is trash day at our house and Jebra put out our recycling bin. It was nowhere to be found when we got home from work. So yesterday I called the city to ask what to do as ours had been stolen. The city thinks theft is unlikely and that it was more probable our bin fell into the truck while it was being dumped. The replacement bin was delivered to our house yesterday and that's a good thing as I'd filled a paper grocery bag with things destined for the bin while we were without.

At some point over the week I'd called my mother who was doing well but still bored. In Jebra's folks' news, the tree limb has been removed from the roof, the tarp is in place, and the house survived whatever storms came their way.
