I think I'm fighting off a cold
Folks at work have been sick with colds and coughs for the past couple weeks. I thought I'd escaped without infection, but yesterday I could not stay awake. I slept in, moved to the couch, turned on the tv, set up my laptop, and fell asleep. I spent the next ten hours trying to edit two files, falling asleep with my hands still on the keyboard enough times that I lost count. I woke up from one unintentional nap to discover I'd managed to delete the first half of the file while making changes to the bottom half.
If I'd known it was lights out day or whatever it was, I'd have shut everything noncritical down and gone to bed. But since I didn't, I stayed on the couch with everything running.
As more proof I wasn't feeling well, I discovered I'd not logged in to LJ for two full days. Took skip 260 to catch up.
Still feeling low on energy, but so far I haven't dozed off in the three hours I've been out of bed.
